25-Year-Old Woman Who Have Difficulty On Conceiving a Baby Decided to Adopt 24-Year-Old Frozen Embryo, Then Gives Birth to a Beautiful Baby

A 24-year-old embryo was given birth by a 25-year -old lady, almost the same as her age and turned out a beautiful baby who made a new world record. Let's see how these amazing situation happened.


Benjamin and Tina Gibson have been partners for many years, but they are incapable of producing a child due to Benjamin's case of cystic fibrosis wherein a physician's diagnosis to be unproductive and sterile. Furthermore, they continue to enjoy their lives together, and both encourage to raise a child, not on their own, and they greatly love it.

It shows that Ben and Tina genuinely are fond of kids, her father suggested undertaking an embryo adoption. It was a very unusual process for married couples utilizing their own cells for IVF, for instance.

When the couple ended up with their decision, they both went to NEDC- National Embryo Donation Center to choose from different prospects but little did they know it was a hard pick. They spent weeks studying parent's history and decreasing their options to three.


On their first selection, it was a 2-year-old embryo frozen back October 1, 1992. In accordance with their knowledge about the embryo, they made it through their final decision. The embryo was unfrozen March 13, 2017, and implanted to Tina's uterus after two days.

Tina's Pregnancy goes on very well. Tina gives birth on November 25, and they named the baby as "Emma Wren Gibson".


Based on the research of the University of Tenessee Preston Medical Library, baby Emma is the longest frozen embryo ever came to birth, and it was a success in medical history.

But what particularly amazed everyone, including Tina, is that if the baby was born on the schedule, she could've been 24 years old already.  Which means she is almost the same age as her mom Tina.


“Do you realize I’m only 25? This embryo and I could have been best friends,” Tina stated on Fox News. “We’re just so thankful and blessed. She’s a precious Christmas gift from the Lord,” she added. “We’re just so grateful.”

Ben and Tina has also decided to take the two other embryos legally together with Emma but is still not sure when to give her a sibling.
