Man Found and Saved an Abandoned Baby in a Telephone Boot in the Middle of a Cold, Cold Night - 22 Years Later They Meet Again and This Is Their Story.

Life often throws us challenges at the most unexpected times. On those times, we also learn to be humane and help each other out. So when a man stumbled upon a baby in the middle of a cold, cold night, life challenge began for these two and the beginning of a beautiful story.

Joe Campbell was walking outside when he decided to go to a telephone booth. It was April 30th of the year 1994, and the London night was unforgivably cold. As he went inside to make a phone call, he was surprised when he found a baby girl inside the telephone booth. He immediately dialed 999 and explained the situation.

Minutes later, police and an ambulance came. The baby girl happens to be 2 hours old! Good thing Joe called as soon as he found the baby.

The baby girl was fine and saved from freezing to death. According to Joe, "When I saw the baby, I called 999, and the police came, and the ambulance came, and that's when I found out she was about two hours old!"

Since the baby was born in April, they named her April at first. However, when social services took charge and April was later on adopted by a Pakistani family, April is now Kiran Sheikh.

The police were able to find Kiran's birth mother, and as it happens, the mother is currently hospitalized because she just gave birth to her eighth child. Apparently, Kiran is her seventh child, and she did not want to leave Kiran intentionally.

Kiran's birth mother explained that she could no longer support all her children because she is in a violent relationship. Kiran was born in a bathroom, and her mother was all alone when she gave birth.

2 hours after Kiran was born she was left by her mother in a telephone booth exposed to freezing, not intended to leave her there but she left to look for help that night.

According to Joe, that was fate that he met Kiran. After Kiran was adopted, he tried to keep in contact with her.

He would send gifts and letter to her. However, social services adviced him to cut off all ties with Kiran. According to Joe, "I asked if I could keep in contact, I was told no, that's not possible. I asked if I could find out how she was doing, and I was told no, that's not possible."

Coincidentally, Kiran found out about Joe in a file they kept of her. She shared, "He had done so much for me. It said in my file he gave me presents, he sent me cards and I never received anything, but he did. I needed to thank him somehow."

Fate still helped them meet, and when they finally did, all Joe had to say was, "one of the happiest days of my life. She is my family."

Life may throw us obstacle, but we always have to face it and hold on. These two are an inspiration to everyone that no matter what happens, don't give up and help each other up.
